Year-End Prayers For China Wk 2

Dec 8 – This week watch Piper’s prayer & ask God to help the persecuted church in China not just to survive, but to thrive.

Dec 9 – Pray for the imprisoned in China and their families. Pray for peace & courage esp for their children.

Dec 10 – Pray for those who have abandoned their faith because of fear. Pray that they, like Peter, will strengthen others when they are restored.

Dec 11 – Pray that God will purify the Chinese church through persecution. May it be purged of worldliness & bear greater fruit.

Dec 12 – Pray that God will empower the church to love & witness to those who hurt them. Pray that many will seek & find the reason for their hope.

Dec 13 – Pray that this period of hardship will spawn much fruitfulness in terms of theological reflection & progress for the church in China.

Dec 14 – Pray that the suffering church in China will entrust themselves to God while doing good, until the gospel is preached to all & Christ returns.
