What

In early 2020, Pastor James planted a church in Shanghai. Then the pandemic began. Join us as we hear from Pastor James as he reviews the lessons, trials, and blessings of the last three years, how the church plant in Shanghai grew even in the midst of Covid-19 and lockdowns, and how they long to be a church that displays God’s glory and blesses their city through words and deeds.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT IN CHINA

With rising pressure and persecution in China, there are two challenges imperative for church leaders. The first challenge is for current leaders to love Christ above all else, and not to stray into legalism or love of the world. The second challenge is to raise up the next generation of leaders, who will humbly model Jesus even if current leaders are arrested.
